TESLA, the world’s largest maker of automobiles and computers, is rolling out a free software update for its car software.
The update is called TESLabs Update, and it will be available to download for free for two months starting on March 7, 2018.TESL, the makers of TECOS and Lancer, said in a blog post that the update will make it easier for consumers to access the company’s popular automotive software, such as the Autopilot software that powers Tesla’s autonomous driving features.
The company said the update is also designed to simplify and streamline the installation process for Autopilots.
“We’re confident the TESLAB Update will provide a seamless transition for everyone,” the company said.
Tesla is one of the most profitable and popular car companies in the world, with revenues of $9.4 billion last year, according to the S&P 500.
It is a major player in the automotive software business, with more than a quarter of all auto software.
It’s also the company behind Autopili, which provides driver assistance technology and autopilot functionality.
Tesla announced in December that it would be offering a free Autopilon service to its customers for the first time.
Autopilitos is a subscription service that allows the company to use Autopillar’s driver assistance functions and software to control autonomous vehicles on public roads.
